I know that particular catch you are talking about, that catch was a blatant bounced catch, it bounced a foot in front of him... The Ponting dismissal is a different story, you can still see his hands on the ball with the fingers under it, yes it does look like the ball has hit the ground, but at what part do you say its dropped or caught??.. In his mind he caught it of which he appealed for it... Even frame by frame ceases to say it was dropped or caught.

I haven't read any of his writings. I have read some books about him though, I have "The Arrogance of Power: Inside the Secret World of Richard Nixon" by Anthony Summers, which is an anti-Nixon hate book basically, "Very Strange Bedfellows:The Short and Unhappy Marriage of Richard Nixon and Spiro Agnew" by Jules Witcover, and "Nixon and Rockefeller" by Stewart Alsop. I think he was a pretty bad president though. He nominated 2 unqualified people to the Supreme Court, he imposed wage and price controls which damaged our economy, he appeased the USSR and started detente and nuclear arms control deals that hurt the USA, and he prolonged the Vietnam war without doing anything to try to win it. He also did little to help the Jews who were persecuted by the Soviet government when people in the Senate such as Javits were trying to get him to stop detente and the free trade agreements and help the Soviet Jews. I don't think he was a very good president, although there have been plenty who were worse.

Money invested in house VS Resale?

I have been living in my place for 2 years. It is a log home and during this time frame I have spent $30,000. This includes a metal roof, 2 Propane firelaces, limestone boulders. I am redoing the logs this year and replacing 5 windows and adding new siding to the top half of my house. This will equall another $5000. I am doing all the work myself so labor is not an issue. There will be some savings in enrgy costs..but not enough to offset the cash I have put in already. My question is how much is too much to pour into a house? My family is very happy here and I hope the amount of money will decrease as I fix up the place. $30-40,000 on a new car is not unheard of so why do we get all upset over dumping money into a house. After 5 years a car is worth a third of what you spent. How much would a new roof. landscaping, siding and windows add to my place realistically? I am not counting my time..just materials? Is anyone else in this quandry?

Help with family?

Today I had an argument with my dad. In the past while I grew up and I misbehaved he would beat me up (it was bad, he would hit me more even if I looked at him the wrong way) however he hasn't hit me since I started defending myself (at first I would scream at the top of my lungs, later as I grew up I would hit back and swore that if he hit me again I would call the police). While we were arguing today he accused me of being the cause of the family growing apart. I am very open with my parents and tell them about 95% of what goes on in my life, yet every time we get into an argument he uses the things I tell him (example: I told him "I corrected a clmate's paper as strict as possible bec. I don't like her", he then during the argument brought this up accusing me of not being a good christian). If anything I think that due to his abuse I am not normal sometimes. I am a good son and get really good grades, do debate, run, etc. But how am I supposed to forgive my dad and move on?

I am 16 and my scars are getting better with retin A. I know there is already a lot of competition in the acting world, but on top of that, I have slight acne scars. Hmm, I would say you are crazy. A Bach Fugue, is extremely difficult to learn. Because of the four voices, and you have to have meticulous control of each finger, to hold each voice. I don't think you will be fully able to comprehend the complex structure of this piece with such little experience with the piano. Fugue's are usually taught to college level pianists. It is a nice sounding piece, you may be able to learn how to play the notes, but I highly doubt that you will play it as intended by Bach.

I know u can get a divorce, but my husband wants an annulment! I thought only church court can give u that, is that the same as family court? I live in Arkansas. I have had one shoulder Broke work injury, the other one has been dislocated at least 3 times in 29 years from work injuries. I wear a 40 DD bra. Have degenerative spinal disc disease and my hanging on my shoulder hurt my shoulders all the time. Would a reduction help this? And I have been big all my life. When I met my husband in 1981 I wore a size 10 clothes now I wear a womens 26 or a 2X pants and a 3X shirt. I roughly weigh 275lbs. I have tried all sorts of diets NOthing works. Do to current health conditions Exercise hurts my joints and my hips and back to much. I know it is from all the weight I have on my bones. I have tried ATKINS diet, Slim Fast Diet, Diet Pill, Gfruit Diet, and so many others. And once I go off the diet I just gain the 20 pounds I lost then 10 or 20 more. My hole family if rather large. I do not eat that much in a days time I just can't loose weight. I want to have a tummy tuckI have about 4 or 5 inches that hang down off my belly and it always gets sore in the summer from sweat and It will crack and bleed from being sweaty under there. I usually have to put a bandage under it just to absob the moisture. But not sure what these surgeries cost or even how to go about seeing how to do them.

These people don't know what they're talking about the watts aren't spread out for all the hardware devices, it's just the level that each hardware device will run at. If you're graphics card requires 300W the PSU will downgrade itself to run at 300W, it's kinda like the speed limit on the roads 60MPH is the max to drive but you can still drive slower without running into problems with the law. It's just not recommended to use a lower PSU for instance a 200W, that way your devices won't be running at full potential.

How do i get my puppy to stop barking on walks?

My puppy is now 9 1/2 months old. She is a "rat-chi-weenie", one parent chihuahua and dachshund and the other parent chihuahua and rat terrier. I know people say little dogs bark but this one is out of control, I don't mind her barking instinctively when she hears noises at night or even when she's playing. Her barking is making it impossible to walk her as it is rather embarring as it is excessive. We have 1 other dog so I have an idea of what's excessive, as well as just watching other dogs.. She barks at every animal, person, car, she even seems to bark when she's walking or running just to bark. Any suggestions?

Not that i know of. Men and women of any age, regardless of what they wear can be victims of . I'm quite conservative in the way i dress whilst still looking my age. All this 10th 11th business is complete garbage to me and your prose is so disjointed it's not very readable. I don't know what you are talking about a lot of the time but it seems you are doing exams and you have eye trouble? However, it seems to me that you are forcing yourself to the limit and have been doing so for quite a long time. Forget the peer pressure, family pressure, tutor pressure etc.....the person exerting the MOST pressure on you is YOU yourself. Yes you are depressed and instead of going round and round in circles worrying about what's gone before and what might happen and what might never happen, I suggest you take a bit of time off. I suggest you go to your own doctor, tell him all that you've told us, tell him how you feel and that you think you are suffering from depression and he will help you. He will probably give you a sick note which you can send to your college so they will freeze your studies until you are completely well again. He will also send you for some counselling (not with a psychiatrist, with a counsellor) where you can get all your worries off your chest and he will also prescribe some anti-depressants for you to take for a few months. Your studies are weighing on you. Removing you from them for a short period will give you time to take stock properly. While your studies are frozen, you will not have to worry about them and it will give you breathing space to think of your health and give you time to spend on getting better. Exam results are all very well, but they are NOT the end of the world and they are NOT the automatic key to a wonderful future. Good results are helpful....but that's all. You have been concentrating solely on one thing for a long time - probably to the detriment of all other parts of your life. No wonder you are ill. Your eyes need attention now. While you are at the doctor's surgery discuss your eye problems with him and ask him what can be done immediately to help them and what can be done long-term for them. Do NOT ignore your health in favour of your studies. Your health is here and now. Studies can always be shelved until later. When you resume your studies, because you won't be depressed then and your eyes won't be troubling you so much, you will do far better. Getting over first love?

Well... I don't know if it's relevant... but I'm a gay guy. And I met this wonderful guy (actually in yahoo answers) and we had so much darn in common it was ridiculous (trust me... it's like 10X whatever you're thinking I'm thinking). In any case we actually met in real life and I fell for him and he said he loved me too. However, he began to avoid me and was beginning to break my heart. I felt bad and tried to make excuses for him, but my heart couldn't really take it, so I began to make him have a conversation w/me... and he told me he has to move to another country and that he did indeed love me, but had no choice (I believe him btw... and I'm just a cynical heart-broken ). In any case I just don't know anymore...
