Why do people say colloidal silver is bad for you?

I have used actual coloidal silver my entire life and have had no ill effects. The definition that it is particles suspended in water are absurd, of course ingesting actual silver particles will harm you. The way I prepare it is using 2 silver rods in a bowl of distilled water, with an electric current running between the rods making one the 'positive' and one the 'negative' post. This current releases positive silver electrons into the water and binds with the waters molicules on a sub-atomic level creating a new substance, no longer water or silver, while maintaining the health effects of silver, which had been proven many times, but alters skin pigmants like the 'blue man' which in all honesty most likely wears at least some makup to increase the visual effect he has. But the man hasn't been sick in years as he has claimed so himself, I haven't had anything worse then a stuffed nose during the harvest season in almost 5 years myself, and i almost never wash my hands. So please, why do people say that true, actual colloidal silver is bad for you? My family and my families friends have all tried it and they have all drastically changed their opinions about it. This is about actual coloidal silver, not the fake coloidal silver that is just small silver particles suspended in water.
