How do you negatively reinforce negative reinforcement?

If am angry wih my staff , i was not talking to her, thats already unpleasant situation for both of us, to escape this hostility , she would do all the work task igned for her . The act of performing her job removed the hostile situation , and i began to talk to her again. So the tendency of it, whenever am angry , this staff will work efficiently.
