Can u get an annulment through indian family court?

I know u can get a divorce, but my husband wants an annulment! I thought only church court can give u that, is that the same as family court? IF so, how will this play out if I don't show up to contest? How long will it take for the process to go through? I only put an exclamation mark there because he's done nothing to deserve an annulment, and I've done nothing to give him one...even though the allegations are there. Honest answers please, thanks.
