What do I do with an unruly 6-year-old?

She does not seem so misbehaved; however, compared to your older children she is more strong-willed. If she had been the first, the others would seem "easy" in comparison. I read a great book called the "Strong-Willed Child" by Carl Pickhardt, PhD. It has many practical tips for parenting children who are strong-willed. Interestingly, strong-willed parents have the most difficulty parenting their child with a similar temperment.
