Do you have to be a brain to be a teacher?

i want to teach high school history but i have a gpa of 2.27 (which is somewhere around c or c+) in high school (im currentl a senior in high school) and i always pictured teachers as being somewhat brainy. i enjoy history and i am great a it but i am not as smart as some other people i know and that deters me from my dream because i always pictured teacher being people with and A average like them. please help me out, do you think i have what it takes to be a teacher?
