Spilt water on my laptop!?

I don't have first-hand experience, but many people suggest that the most important thing is to make sure that all the water is gone before you turn on the laptop again. Dry the laptop out, and/or do anything you can to make sure the water is all gone/evaporated. Only then should you turn on the laptop.
