What is better a jasper chip set or a falcon chip set?

I am going to buy a elite 360, or pro, and if i have to arcade. I am wondering if the jasper chip is better then the falcon chip. the jasper is said to be found more in the arcade 360 and pro 360. Which is better? Does the falcon stop the rrod? what should i do jasper or falcon? how can i check what it is without opening the box so if it isnt the better chip i can return it in 2 sec. lol thanks. ps does yours work fine with falcon and how long have you had it?
