Why is he so nice to me then ruins it by being mean???? :(?

He definitely was joking. No guy (unless they are ridiculously mean) would ever tell a girl that she was a tramp or ugly if they actually thought she was. Usually when a guy says something like that, he says it because he thinks it's such an obvious joke because the girl is really attractive.
